For Stacks pages, this is Extra Content Area #2. For each of the Extra Content Areas, you can utilize a solid color background, or a background image of your choice. On non-Stacks pages, this is an optional placement for your Sidebar, and the background is color customizable. Or you can choose to not display this area at all.
